We have an exciting opportunity for a PR Apprentice to join the KOR team to kickstart their career in public relations, alongside studying for a qualification in multi-channel marketing.
KOR is a specialist communications agency for businesses in the land and property sector, so as well as passion for digital communications, social media and public relations, the ideal candidate must be interested in one or more of the following; the countryside, the rural sector, property development and/or politics.
As an Apprentice, you’ll be working and learning from an experienced team of former broadcast and print journalists, social media specialists and experts in rural affairs and public affairs.
The Role
Managing social media content, deciding when it’s posted to achieve the best engagement levels and then analysing its impact.
Opportunities to produce strategic social media content for client channels.
Monitoring social media – being the eyes and ears of good news stories, as well as political or community issues for our clients.
Preparing eNewsletter campaigns and analysing performance.
Monitoring media – to collate client coverage we’ve secured, as well as identify and flag news stories relating to our clients and our sector.
Assisting senior account team members with client deliverables, including progressing them through the approval process.
Assisting with internal processes and the management of client accounts.
Assisting with monthly evaluation reports and social media performance.
Your skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A confident communicator who is able to express ideas clearly and ask the right questions.
A proactive learner who embraces new challenges with a “can-do” attitude.
Ability to pay close attention to detail when carrying out tasks.
Good research skills.
The ability to prioritise and organise your workload.
Driving license and access to your own vehicle (free parking directly outside offices is provided)
Interest in social media management, the logistics, new trends and the development of strategies.
Aware of emerging trends and an ability to think about how they might work for clients.

Vacancy details
· Working pattern -37.5hrs per week - Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (1hr break for lunch)
· Salary – £20,000 - £23,000 per annum
· Number of positions available: one
· Qualifications required: Maths and English GCSE, grade C/4 (or equivalent).
· Apprenticeship Standard – Level 3
