Experienced public relations professional Chris Penfold joins KOR Communications

Experienced public relations professional Chris Penfold has joined KOR Communications as an Account Director to work with our growing list of clients in the landed estates and development sectors.

Chris, who holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, (CIPR) brings a wealth of experience to KOR with particular skills in understanding clients’ needs at a strategic level and helping them to develop communications plans that closely match their wider aims and ambitions.

After studying for a BA Honours Degree in Music Industry Management at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, Chris worked with PR agencies in Oxfordshire and Cornwall across a number of sectors, including business to business, property and construction, travel, tourism and food and drink.

Several of the campaigns devised and delivered by Chris were recognised with industry awards, including gold accolades at the CIPR’s Pride Awards.

Chris said: “I am really looking forward to working with KOR’s clients.  I am pleased to join a communications consultancy that really understands its niche and provides expert support to clients in the landed estates and development sectors.

“I am delighted to be using my experience as a PR strategist, well-versed in helping clients define and develop plans at a strategic level, as part of the KOR team.  It is so refreshing to join an agency that has its own clearly defined area of expertise.”

“It’s great to be joining a team of communications professionals who are so knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic about the land and property sector.

“It’s also very exciting to be working with clients who are at the forefront of projects that are clearly key to sustaining and improving communities, the environment and the economy; whether that’s providing places for people to live and work, bringing forward renewable energy projects or simply providing space for people to relax and nature to thrive.”

KOR provides professional communications support and services for clients nationwide, including a number of Britain’s largest landed estates, The Jockey Club, the leading rural insurer NFU Mutual and the Singapore-based Fragrance Group who are developing new hotels across the UK.

Managing Director Annette Richman said: “Chris joins KOR at an exciting time as our business grows.  He will bring experience and professional skills to our existing clients as well as helping us to develop new business.  His skillset strengthens our team and we’re really pleased to welcome him to KOR.”
